S7UDIO SEVEN is a brand by Journey Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 82 665 544 383), which is responsible for the information described here. We collect only what we need to plan and deliver your website, and we don’t sell it to anyone.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, email, phone number, website, business details and anything you tell us in the brief, the contact form, emails or calls.
- Project materials: logos, copy, images, documents and account access you share during a build, including files you upload through your build link.
- Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We see that you’ve paid and how much, but never your card details.
- Usage data: how visitors use this site (pages viewed, clicks, device type, approximate location) so we can improve it. We don’t use advertising cookies, and our analytics runs without cookies.
How we use it
To respond to enquiries, plan and deliver your build, send invoices, look after your site afterwards, and improve our site and service.
When you start the brief, we save your name, email and phone number as soon as you move past the step that asks for them, even if you don’t finish, so we can follow up about your website. If you finish the brief but don’t book a week, we send you one email about a day later to check whether we can help. If you ask us to email you your speed test results, your free positioning read or a checklist from one of our guides, we use your email address to send it, and a person from our team may reply once to see if we can help. You can ask us to delete any of it at any time.
We only email you about your enquiry or your project. We don’t add you to a newsletter unless you ask.
Two tools on this site that send data to another service
- Reading your current website. If you paste your website’s address into the brief or the free positioning read and ask us to read it, we fetch the public pages of that site and send their text to Anthropic, whose AI drafts answers and a positioning read for you to check. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, this data isn’t used to train its models. You can skip this step and answer in your own words.
- The speed test. If you test your site on our homepage, we send its address to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service, which loads the page and scores it. We send nothing else, and we keep the result for 15 minutes so repeat tests are quick.
Who we share it with
We use these services to run the studio. Each handles data under its own privacy and security terms, and only for the job we use it for:
| Service | What it does for us | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts this site and privately stores briefs and the files you upload | Your brief, uploads, and standard web request data |
| Stripe | Takes payments and issues receipts | Your name, email, billing details and card (Stripe only) |
| Resend | Sends our emails to you and to us | Your name, email and the content of the email |
| PostHog | Site analytics, so we can see what works | Usage data, without cookies. Text typed into forms isn’t recorded |
| Ahrefs | Site analytics and search reporting | Usage data, without cookies |
| Google Analytics | Site analytics and search reporting | Usage data, without cookies or advertising features |
| Anthropic | Drafts brief answers and positioning reads from your current website, when you ask | The public text of the website address you give |
| Google PageSpeed Insights | Runs the speed test, when you ask | The website address you test |
| Notion | Our internal build tracker | Your name, business, contact details and brief |
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Where it’s stored
Our providers store data in Australia, the United States and the European Union. Analytics data is held by PostHog and Google in the United States, and by Ahrefs on its own servers.
How long we keep it
For as long as we’re working together, including the Care period after launch, and afterwards for as long as we need to meet tax and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Send us a message through our contact form, or reply to any email we’ve sent you. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and, for visitors in the UK and EU, the UK GDPR and GDPR.

If you have a question about privacy, send us a message through our contact form or reply to any email we’ve sent you. S7UDIO SEVEN is a brand of Journey Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 82 665 544 383).
